Aruba FishingAruba Fishing: Things You Must Know Before Your Aruba Fishing Trip
I’m sure if you’ve been fishing for any length of time, the allure of Aruba fishing has been calling you. every fisherman dreams of deep sea fishing, being out in the middle of the water out of sight of land, and it’s just you and the ocean. Aruba fishing offers some of the most spectacular deep sea fishing opportunities anywhere in the world, and it’s one of the few places I’d put on my must visit list. Where is Aruba? It’s about twenty five miles off north of the country of Venezuela, and because of this ,you can expect to find warm and sunny weather virtually year round. I’d recommend you go during their winter months, because it can get quite hot and steamy during the summer. The place is actually part of a larger chain of islands, called the lesser Antilles, which is actually owned by the Netherlands. This becomes apparent as soon as you arrive, as the predominate language spoken there is Dutch to this day. Obviously, due to the their incredible location, fishing is one of the main attractions here, and there are no shortage of fish available. I could give you an exhaustive list, but I will save you the time. One thing to remember is that, most of the fish are big. You can expect some serious exercise trying to get these lively fish aboard, and if you succeed, congratulations! Regardless of your level of fishing expertise, Aruba fishing will challenge you in ways most places can never do. If you were expecting a nice, easy going and non physically challenging trip, you’d be wrong, at least when it comes down to crunch time, and actually bringing the fish aboard. So how much can you expect to pay for renting an Aruba fishing boat? While the rates vary, generally you will shell out anywhere between three and six hundred bucks, and the price changes depending on how long you will out for. yes, this is a bit expensive, but even if you only do it once, it will be well worth it. I’d recommend you start out with sites such as orbitz or Travelocity to book your flight and hotels, which can save you some serious money. at least with your airlines, try and do so just before you leave, as you can find much better deals with this method. Airlines hate empty seats, and right before the flight leaves is when you find the best deals. Stop putting off your Aruba fishing adventure, as it will be the experience of a leftie.
